Indian River Power Plant Title V Air Permit Public Hearing |
|
Indian River is the state of Delaware's largest air polluter, responsible for tens of thousands of tons of conventional air pollution and millions of tons of carbon dioxide emissions. The emissions from the plant continue to be far in excess of what technology can achieve.
DNREC is proposing to renew the plant's Title V permit, an all-encompassing air quality permit required by the federal Clean Air Act, which if issued will govern plant operations for the next 5 years. Now is your final opportunity to express your views about the plant's pollution while learning more from plant neighbors, scientists, officials, and attorneys.
