Center Improves Premcor Refinery Air Permit

DNREC issued a draft Clean Air Act Title V permit for the Premcor Refinery (formerly owned by Motiva) in Delaware City in July 2004.  The Center, on behalf of the Sierra Club, submitted comments seeking improvements to the permit and requested a public hearing.  DNREC held the hearing on August 17, and MAELC presented public testimony there.  DNREC issued the final Title V permit on November 30, and it has adopted several of MAELC’s comments regarding the pollution control upgrade project permit provisions.
